Daily 11 Avocado

First grown from seed in the 1930s in Camarillo, California by the rancher and horticulturist C.J. Daily, the Daily 11 is perhaps the largest avocado grown in California. This seedling of Queen often bears fruit three pounds in size, and sometimes up to 5 pounds. One of the heaviest avocados on record at 5 pounds 3.6 ounces was a Daily 11 found on a sidewalk in Hawaii in 2018.
This is an elongated, pear-shaped avocado with a smallish seed and thick green skin. The flesh is soft and creamy with a good flavor.

Sold out for 2024.

Trees are approximately 3 feet tall and sell for $45 each cash or check or Venmo, or $47 via credit card or PayPal. All trees are sold in a poly grow sleeve that is roughly equivalent to a #2 pot.
